Joseph Cislo was born in Poland on May 8, 1870. He and his wife Anna came to the United States in 1905. They settled first in Colorado and moved to Great Falls, Montana, about 1914. Joseph worked as a section timekeeper for the Great Northern Railway. Joseph and Annie's sons also worked for the railroad. Joseph Cislo died June 8, 1939. The Rexford, Mont., station of the Great Northern Railway was established in 1903. It was closed in 1972 when the railroad was rerouted due to the flooding of the area behind the Libby Dam.
